The Online Poker World Championship has two sides: one where everybody is happy to be, where everything is fortune, congratulations and fame. That side where the game is full of big pots in favor, soft rivals, great cards and easy money; where nothing can erase the smile of their faces. But there’s another side not so full of joy: The dark side of any competition; where the players try to shake the bad runs off, and the points seem to be harder to achieve, where they have to struggle in order to gather some units and avoid the bottom of the ranking at all cost.
While on top the warriors try to take the crown, in the other end of the list several poker players do their best to start climbing positions and stop touching the lowest step of such a long ladder. That has been the case of two Europeans and two North Americans: “Norgler” with just one point, “Hogginit” “Robbys2art” and “BigGoom” all of them with two units in their personal scores. These online players might have started slow, but poker is an amazing game full of surprises and the same way we saw Ute A.K.A “Mattejat” climbing from the last positions to the top ten, we might also see these fighters going up very soon.
The race has been evolving and the rivals are every time stronger. We read in yesterday’s article that even the ladies are crushing the poker tourneys in order to earn the World Title and to be on the top ten the minimum amount required is 50 points. The players on the dark side of the contest are ready to leave the shadows and start writing a different story…
