The Online Poker World Championship has reached the second week now and the leader is still North America with two sharks on top of the ranking. Surprisingly, South America took the second place of the continental poker competition leaving the European players away with a 15 point difference.
For some OPWC contestants, victory and success are still unknown; the bottom of the ranking has been holding them down even though they’ve tried to get rid of the despicable positions. Some people could say they haven’t had enough luck, others might state those are just normal fluctuations of the game. The truth is they don’t have a single unit on their scoreboards yet.
Two players from North America and two from Europe have suffered a harsh opening and carry the loser tag at the moment: Mattejat, JustRob937, Jwhuskey and OPWCsastech who reduced the impact winning the welcome freeroll at PKR offered the 4th of August. Nonetheless the game of poker is always full of surprises and the river will let us hear the last word about these gladiators. Will they find a way out of the lowest spots?
Stay tuned and remember: Stop Playing Online Poker without being ranked at the Online Poker World Championship.
