Wolfgang A.K.A “jackbauerAK” leads the Online Poker World Championship 23 days before the end of the first period. The German shark has managed to keep his position intact for more than two weeks and the rivals still need to score a descent amount of points in order to take him down.
The current top five players are looking good. The last of them has over 120 points on his personal score and the best crosses the 200 points bar, which constitutes a serious challenge for any newcomer with aspirations to the throne of Online Poker. Thanks to the OPWC Structure, it doesn’t really matter when a player joins the battle; he will always have the chance to place himself on the best spot as long as he proves he’s better than the rest of the grinders involved.
“jackbauerAK” is being followed by “Gunsblazzin” and “mygameisgarbage” two North American players who have shown their firm intentions to take the crown and give the victory to their Nation. Like real predators these guys are stealthy and lethal, that’s why the current dominator of the whole Ranking has to be careful and be ready for any surprise as the time to define things for good on the first period is getting closer and closer. Will Wolfgang survive the inevitable encounter?
The European flag is still swaying proud as the master of the competition; but poker makes the unexpected to happen. Confidence, respect, pride and talent make a magnificent mix inside the game but Lady Luck strikes as she wants; that’s why no final word could be said until the last pot is won.
The amazing things coming soon on the OPWC are still unknown but they will surely arrive, so stay tuned and remember:
Stop just playing poker; take the most out of your skills getting ranked in the Online Poker World Championship.
