Michael Mizrachi, the world famous professional poker player, dominated the main event at the World Series of Poker Africa and increased his already huge career winnings $100.000 more. The North American master who is only 32 years old has accumulated big success since he joined the poker world after leaving college to pursue his poker dreams.
More than 20 titles and 130 cashes that yield a grand total of over $14.200.000 make of “The Grinder” one of the most winning poker players in the history of the game. His last achievement was at The Emerald Resort and Casino where the WSOP’s African version took place and he played his way up the poker ranking with critical calls and smart moves. The final hand was very easy for Mizrachi who found his rival: Karl Myburg, shoving A8o when he held a couple beautiful queens and a huge chip lead; of course he called and the flop came 7d 6d Th which gave the short stacked some outs the turn came another 7 that reduced drastically the chances for Myburg to get back in the game and the Jack on the river smashed his hopes to give Mizrachi the victory, the bracelet and a 101.267 dollar prize.
One hundred and sixteen players bought in the tournament and created a total money prize of over 330 thousand that was split between the best 12; besides The Grinder Mizrachi and the proud runner-up Karl Myburg, other poker gladiators like Markus Feurie, Jarred Soloman and Kinesh Pather, filled their pockets with some juicy amounts thanks to the $3.300 investment they made to join the poker competition.
