-
Q. Which tournaments do I have to play to get points for the OPWC?
-
A. The OPWC is a competition for Sit n Go players, you just have to go to one of our accepted poker rooms and play $2 buy-in or superior Sit n’ Go tournaments.
-
Q. When can I play the OPWC valid tournaments?
-
A. Thanks to the OPWC 100% automated ranking system your results will be tracked at any time. You can play your sit n’ go tournaments whenever you have the chance, given your schedule and hour preferences don’t interfere with the tracking process.
-
Q. Where can I play the valid tournaments for the OPWC Ranking?
-
A. The OPWC accepts results from several of the most popular and prestigious poker rooms of the market. You can review all accepted poker rooms here.
-
Q. If one participant plays high buy-in tournaments does he get more points than the lower-limit players?
-
A. No, the OPWC keeps 100% fair conditions for every single player. The point system assigns the score according to the finishing position and the number of players involved in the game, without considering the buy in amount as long as it’s the minimum accepted ($2) or superior. Everybody has the chance to become the World Champion independently of bankroll size, experience or homeland.
-
Q. Participants who play the most games will always have more points in the end?
-
A. The OPWC is designed to allow each player get points for his first 200 tournaments every period. For example: by the end of Period IV you played 198 tournaments and collected 270 points; your score by the beginning of Period V will go back to 0 and you will have a maximum of 200 games again to set your new period record.
-
Q. Do I have to play only in one accepted poker room?
-
A. No, The OPWC point system will track your results on each accepted poker room at the same time, so you are not limited, just make sure to enter your usernames in your OPWC player profile and let the system do the rest. You’ll be able to switch from one rom to another, at will, without affecting the tracking process.
-
Q. How are the points given by the Tracking System?
-
A. The OPWC 100% automated point system assigns scores for tournaments of $2 buy in or superior according to the finishing position and the number of players involved. For example you played a 60 player $5.50 Sit n’ Go tournament and you finished 3rd, therefore you get 8 units for the Ranking. There’s a detailed chart with all the information about this topic, check it HERE and design your plan to own the Top position
-
Q. I play Double-Up Sit n’ Go tourneys, do they count?
-
A. Yes, they count as long as their buy in is $2 or superior. Remember the system assigns scores depending on the finishing position and players involved, so in the case of Double-Ups you have to make sure to own one of the deepest chip stacks of the table by the moment the tournament finishes. For example: you are playing a 10-man $10 Double-Up and the 6th player gets eliminated. You finished in the money but you were short-stacked compared to the other 4 players and your position is 5th, therefore you didn’t make any points for the OPWC.
-
Q. I played a 6-man $2.20 Bounty Sit n’ Go and finished first but didn’t get any points for it, why?
-
A. Remember the valid OPWC games must be $2 buy in or superior; in this case the buy in of the tournament is $1.20 because the bounty of $1 that each player puts on his head doesn’t count for the entry fee.
