The ranking at the Online Poker World Championship is burning after the lady from Netherlands “Alisje” took the first position leaving behind the German player who held the throne for the last weeks. With an incredible display of consistency and discipline Danielle Van Helst managed to achieve the maximum spot thanks to her great results at the tables of PKR one of the OPWC accepted poker rooms.
The Period IV winner wannabes will have to beat the 247 score if they want to achieve their goal, but all of them know that as long as the current leader has available games they would be facing an even taller ladder to climb. Nobody wants to leave loose ends in this competition as it happened in the last phase when the Europe´s preliminary qualifier lost his spot when another competitor made a nice run in the last moments of the period. This time the rivalry is fierce and most players keep an ace under the sleeve. In the end only one will be able to be named winner and only one per continent will have a ticket for the Eliminations.
“Kevters102” the player who made it to the top spot of the European poker last period and smashed the dreams of “Erdium” (currently on the 16th place) when he was almost totally convinced he was the winner; is once again running hot this time with the second place and just a couple points behind the highest score. Will he be able to repeat the prowess made in the previous stage? His rivals know now he could be saving some games for the last sprint and the last word can only be said when the timer reaches the deadline as they can also be doing the same to apply a master strategy.
The most remarkable escalating has been performed by “Arturros17” a polish grinder who has come to the 6th position taking down hot candidates like “OPWCmaltaman” and “dhernandezq” who started pretty good but seem to be running out of possibilities. Artur has an average of 2 units in his last 5 games, if he continues like that and still has enough games available he could be considered a real menace for the top spot owners of the moment given their roughly 1.2 points per game they are doing so far. Will the crown be Polish this round?
Special mention has to be made to the ladies of this international online poker competition. As it was said the leader is a female but the Top 10 is honored with the presence of two girls more who literally own the fields. “Triliro” and “Towes” running 8th and 10th respectively are also a big hit during this period and keep on moving forwards despite the rough field they have had to face. Some say this is the time for the ladies to completely blast the poker ranking and others think they are very likely to win the huge poker sponsorship by the end of the season… what we can say for sure is that the girls of the OPWC are no joke when it’s about poker skills; they are ready to take the throne and smash the rivals in front as it is being clearly shown.
Stay tuned for another OPWC News release.
