The Online Poker World Championship launched a poll to allow the fans on Facebook guess where the winner of the first period will come from. There has been a nice participation and each continent shows several votes of the supporters. But the results keep on moving as more fans submit their options; in the end there will be a $20 voucher for one of the fans who guessed the right continent.
Europe is leading the poll results with 213 votes in favor surprisingly followed by the Africa-Asia-Australia Alliance which counts 66 votes and left behind the North and South American Squads in third and fourth place respectively.
The peculiar fact about the poll is that it actually matches the current OPWC Ranking with a European Grinder leading on top, the well-known “JackbauerAK”, followed by an Australian shark: “oMUZZAo” who count over 190 units in his personal score. The third place on leaderboard is for the North American brawler “Gunsblazzin” who has three more teammates, one after another, carrying the USA Flag. Last but not least, the South American top striker “Trytokill” battles his way up to the 8th position and doesn’t seem like stopping there.
Will the stats of the poll be 100% true in the end of Period I? Will nobody be up to the challenge and take the crown away from the German grinder? Will “oMUZZAo”, “Gunsblazzin”, “mygameisgarbage”, “Worktopay”, “opwciwiknz” or “Trytokill” make a last effort to become the total dominators? Or will they choose to let Europe be in command?
