It’s time for another “Meet The Sharks” Interview and this time the OPWC is honored to present one of the most enthusiast girls of the competition, with great results and astonishing charisma this United Kingdom beauty, Amelia "Clemmy33" has made it to the Top 10 of the World Ranking. This is what she told the News Team.
How did you start playing poker?
I started playing live poker in early 2009 after seeing it on the television, so i am quite a late comer to the game but a fast learner!! I tried online poker at that time too but went bust, so stayed away until i got better. I continued to just play for fun from 2009 til 2025, as i began to learn the game, but only as recently as mid/late 2025 have i started to play more seriously & have a second attempt at online play. In 2025 i am going to go back to playing more live games too at my local casinos.
What was the magic of poker, the reason you continued playing?
Just my love of the game and the desire to succeed. I am pretty good but I have lots more to learn!
What are your goals playing poker?
To play in a major event versus the best, like the WSOP, WPT, EPT etc etc :)
How did you know about and come to the OPWC?
Through friends on PKR & Facebook. I saw posts by them, so I had a look at the OPWC and joined :)
What do you like about the OPWC?
I like the fact that we are all competing regardless of stake and that it gives me an even more of an incentive to play and win :)
What are your expectations in the World Championship and how do you see the competitors?
To hopefully get to be in the Team OPWC. This site is still new to me and I'm still finding out what is what to be honest, so I will just play my games, get my results and hopefully get a seat. Some of the players I'm up against look pretty good but I'm not afraid of anyone.....bring 'em on ;)
Do you remember any fun or interesting anecdotes of your poker games?
I guess winning my first online tournament and the feeling of excitement it gave me, that was fun :) Nothing else to add really ;)
On which of the accepted poker rooms can we find you and what tourneys do you usually play?
I mostly play on PKR and I prefer 6-seater MTTs but I will really play any MTT. I like playing the $6 - $20 buy-in MTTs mostly until I have built up enough of a BR to play higher stakes. I obviously love playing SNG's too, 6max are my fav's :)

I'd like to thank “kevster102” for the coaching; he has helped my game loads. Also thanks to the Blade Academy too, for the coaching provided by him (Blade) and all the support and feedback on HH's etc. I have had from the others in the group :)
As my game continues to improve I will be playing at higher stakes soon enough, so you better watch out, I’m coming for you!!! Rahahaha ;)
