Two weeks ago the Period II started full throttle and many players began to move up the World Ranking, but among them one was faster: the European grinder “OPWCmaltaman” who played at an incredible pace and built a huge advantage of more than 100 units over the current runner-up.
During the last days he haven’t been seen adding any new points to his personal mark which might be useful for those trying to chase him in the competition. The Polish player “Dzioobdzioob” and the Period I winner “4Soul” are the current challengers; although they look harmless when compared to “OPWCmaltaman” numbers, these players might give us a surprise in the future as they have been harvesting points at a very effective rate. Will they be able to dethrone the Maltese Falcon?
