Raymer, a professional poker player who currently lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, was born on June 25th 1964 and his most remarkable performance was in 2004 when he won the World Series Of Poker Main Event and took home a huge and lovely $5’000.000 prize. But that was not all, he played the following year and finished 25th for another $304.000.
During the Heartland Poker Tour “The Fossilman” has taken 4 titles out of 8 but this incredible achievement hasn't been easy as during the last event his chip stack was the shortest of the Final Table. Raymer managed to come back with some help from the poker gods after his A♠2♠ won against his rival's A♣Q♣. Moments later he shoved A♣K♥ and prevailed over A♥Q♥. Finally he defeated the whole field proving he’s on top of his career and added $100 thousand more to his deep list of lifetime winnings.
