Europe is the leader of the Online Poker World Championship and the score keeps on growing.
It was not enough to take the lead a couple of days ago; the Romanian player “4Soul” confirmed he’s here to stay improving his score during the last hours to an amazing 272 points which leaves the former leader “oMUZZAo” 27 units behind, and with him, the hopes of the Team Australia-Asia-Africa for Period I, unless the Australian grinder had an ace under the sleeve for the last sprint.
The Team Europe’s current best player started climbing steadily and made his way to the top spot tourney by tourney and now is the leader of the whole competition with a considerable advantage over the rest of competitors. The clock is still ticking but the first position won’t be easy to take whilst The Tiger guards the throne. Will there be a strong enough challenger in the last 4 days?
Remember the OPWC has been designed to allow you take a shot at the World Title independently of the moment you join; if you can’t make it to a good position during this period you will have plenty of chances on the 2nd one and earn the right to represent your land and play for the juicy Sponsorship Deals.
